What the export contains
Your emails never leave your computer.
The ZIP
emails/: one PDF per email, named0001 2026-03-14 Subject.pdf, numbered oldest first, dates in your own time zone.emails/0001 2026-03-14 Subject/: that email's attachments, only when it had any, original files untouched.index.xlsxandindex.csv: one row per email with number, date, from, to, cc, subject, PDF file, attachment count and names, message id, source folder, size and any conversion notes.README.txt: what is in the ZIP, the page size, the time zone, and anything that was left out (for example calendar items from an Outlook file).
The PDFs
Real text, searchable and copyable, not a screenshot. Each PDF shows the sender, recipients, the date exactly as sent, the attachment list, and the message with its inline pictures. Pictures hosted on the internet are never downloaded (nothing leaves your computer), so they appear as a short placeholder. Text in scripts this version cannot draw appears as boxes but stays searchable; a note in the index says so.
Duplicates and oddities
An email that appears in two folders is exported twice and the second copy is marked in the index. Messages that cannot be read still get a file and a note, so nothing disappears silently.
